Tam Lin Retold
The ballad may be known as Tam Lin, but he’s only a part of it. Exploring untold stories and unsung voices, this is badass border balladry for the old and the new. Part sung, part told, this is a tale of poison, pluck and changing shape.
The Oracy Project
An ongoing project run across secondary schools and sixth form colleges in Bristol. In partnership with Unique Voice and The Bristol Education Partnership. Three days of public speaking and confidence building skills training for teenagers.
KeyNote Speaker
I speak at conferences and events in the UK and internationally on the role of oral storytelling for sustainable futures & relationships.
Storytelling training
I offer training in performance and applied storytelling workshops for anyone wanting to build their skills and explore the craft. I have specific interest and experience supporting teachers, healthcare professionals and artists and who want to improve their presentation skills professionally.
I visit organisations, staff training days, conferences, and festivals in the UK and internationally. I also run twice yearly immersive storytelling training weekends for adults.
MENTORING
I offer one-one mentoring for anyone who wants to improve their storytelling, solo performance or public speaking skills. If you have a project that you are struggling to get off the ground; or an idea for a solo show that you get excited about but feel self-doubt around; or if you have to give a speech and you're freaking out about it; I can help you feel confident, grounded and joyful standing up in front of an audience.
I mentored Suzi for her ACE funded DYCP project and this was her feedback:
"Working with Corinne was a real joy. We delved into my writing, and discovered what was alive in the stories - the images, the textures, the relationships... Her expertise in the art of storytelling allowed me to find my storyteller which was exciting. I deeply appreciated the mentoring relationship that Corinne brought to the session, she was strongly supportive whilst steering me towards different ways of shaping my work. The conversations around why and how to continue with my piece were a massive takeaway and I found the sessions safe, stimulating and freeing."

Storytelling in Schools
I have collected an extensive repertoire of stories from a wide range of world mythologies and oral traditions which are deliberately and carefully worked and researched in order to feel relevant, fresh and inclusive to contemporary audiences. I am particularly interested in telling stories to recentre marginalised voices and silenced histories.
If you are a teacher looking to book a storyteller for a particular year group or an assembly, please get in touch.

The reward worth having
A solo storytelling and puppetry piece for all ages about three friends who decide to help an unlikely stranger out of a sticky situation. The magical rewards they are given lead them along the winding path of adventure.
While touring this show for the first time I did a radio interview with Russell Clarke for Source FM in which I discuss the show in more detail; how I found my way to storytelling, how I try to make stories engaging for audiences of all ages, and why storytelling is important in the age we live in.

Weddings & Celebrations
Welcoming the weird and wonderful, I create bespoke storytelling performances for rituals and celebrations including birthdays, weddings and funerals.

Shifting Shapes
Kings with horses ears, maidens bewitched into hags, broken hearted giants transformed into rivers - our ancestors really knew how to tell a tale that twists inside and out again. Shifting shapes is five stories from Celtic mythology woven together with music accompaniment.
Some reviews of the shows:
"Beautiful stories, this 45 year old was fascinated. The music was magical too!"
"We went to Corinne's storytelling last night.. and truly loved it! The stories, the music and the teller were great. The teenagers were entranced and the 7 year old said she wants to go 'a hundred times'!"
Three suns
Created with Paper Jungle Studio, with Arts Council England Funding, Three Suns is a show for families emerging from the Covid Pandemic.
Weaving together innovative puppetry, storytelling and live music, we tell three stories from three different continents. We rejoice in the cosy relationship we have with our home, whilst being transported to other cultures where we taste the flavour of new lands.
“Amazing storytelling - enchanting, thought provoking, told with humour” - Audience member
